Willys MB 127395

As listed on Pacific Jeep Salvage.com: Original unmolested 1942 Script Willys MB Jeep For sale is this original Script WW2 Willys MB Jeep, Serial Number MB127395. It was built in March 1942 under the BRT contract. It is 100% original and unmolested with original chassis tag and all three data plates in place. This early Script Willys MB served with the Australian Army during WW2 and is a real time warp. It has its original unit markings in place which show it to be a reconnaissance jeep from 5 Troop, Armoured Reconnaissance Squad, 2/4th Australian Armoured Regiment. The original Australian Army hood number has been confirmed through the Australian War Memorial as 79495 and the original engine number was MB129369. This was replaced during war service with engine MB199029 which is in the Jeep now. The Jeep was parked up many years ago and accumulated a lot of mud inside. This has all been cleaned away and has acted to protect the floors from corrosion. The front and rear floors are in excellent condition. The rear seat was left open and has corroded from the weather but this has protected the rear floor from corrosion. The body tub is solid and completely original. The Chassis frame is good and solid with original straight front frame horns. The jeep's original canvas half doors were found under the rear seat and have been preserved. They are not complete but are a great piece of the Jeep's history. Also there are fragments of the original canvas screen cover and the seats all have the original seat covers on them. The engine bay is complete and covered in dry mud. Everything is there. This Jeep needs to be mechanically restored but for the body and frame to be preserved not restored. This is not a Jeep to be stripped down and returned to factory condition, it is a piece of important Jeep history whose value is in its 100% originality and condition. If you are looking for a ground up restoration project we have other jeeps suitable for that type of project. This one is a once in a lifetime find and has not been molested at all in civilian life. HMRC Nova certificate will be provided. UK Mainland Delivery can be arranged if required (at buyers expense). Any questions please ask.
