Ford GPW 9225

GPW 9225 is an early RAF lend-lease vehicle and the station runaround on a bomber base in Norfolk, England during WWII. After a spell as a farm utility vehicle where the body was wrecked, it was patched and spent the rest of its life in a military vehicle museum until a ground-up restoration started in 1996. GPW9225 has a post-war CJ block topped with a Ford cylinder head and many other F-marked parts. It is painted as Alpha 6 vehicle of the 1st Infantry. The hood number is fictitious.
