Very little history known before my Grandfather purchased it from the ex army surplus supplier in 1948. We believe it came from the pacific island. The jeep has been a work horse every since we have owned it. They rear of the jeep has been cut off and replaced with a wooden deck many years ago after an accident. The motor is now GPW1804. A full restoration is on the cards on day, the hood number is as we purchased it so should be correct, there is no glovebox.
Body repaired and painted in New Zealand 2022, before being shipped to Isle of Man , UK
