Don't be spooked by the engine number as the current engine is a replacement we installed in 1968 when the original wen't to Jeep heaven.This engine was brand new and built on a CJ2A block,and the Engine No was allocated by the Queensland Dept of Transport.Prior to my family purchasing the in 1963 it had been in service with the Royal Australian Air Force.
