GPW 137821

This is the jeep my wife doesn't know about yet. It is an early 50's time capsule. I am the 3rd civilian owner. The hood numbers are exact. The jeep seems to have been painted a white camo. This jeep was in Montana for many years. A Devil's Brigade training jeep, perhaps? The jeep is a great runner, but the rear floor needs to be replaced and it is missing the usual accoutrements. It has a beautiful M38 arctic top on it also. I could not pass this one up. I hope to keep this jeep as my winter driver and make it into a Korean era frozen winter jeep! New info: The hood numbers are for a different year of jeep, this jeep obviously has had a depot rebuild at sometime in its life. A Green Sheller steering wheel is also on it. It has two Goodyear Suburbanite tires on it that are in great shape. I am beginning to love this jeep more and more.
