I rescued this Jeep one day before it was to go to the crusher. Under all the rust and 14 coats of paint it was quite restorable. I was lucky as most of the parts were F marked. After 8 years of very part time restoring it should be done this fall (2000). Above Info is as stamped on engine, frame, and data plate. Anyone interested in contacting me can send e-mail to JMGPW@aol.com Original time estimate very optimistic. After 17 years the Jeep is 90% done. Looking good now. Hope to have finished summer 2010. It's been a long road. |
