My name is Sydney and I got this Jeep from my dad while on a trip with him going cross country Febuary 12, 2007. I am totally in love with her, but she needs a lot of work. I have already started sanding it down and trying different methods for trying to find the hood numbers and the star on the hood. I've found the hood number and it is 20111641 s, and personally, I think that is the coolest thing in the world!! My dad is the one who found the Serial number which is 26315. We only found the hood number on the right side of the Jeep for a while, then we started to use a paint stripper on the top of the hood looking for the star, so far we have had no luck on the star... Then we started to use the stripper on the left side of the Jeep, looking for the other Hood number and we confirmed that they put yellow paint over the hood number and only the hood number. It is pretty cool thing because now we can tell where the numbers and eveything are so it will be easier to find everything.
