Notes/Comments: |
DOD and hoodnumber are estimated from chassis number. Ex-french army, rebuilt as 24v on 1944 rust-free chassis. Later converted to 12v by the french army. No notch on dashtop flange, but curved cowl support rear flanges, and field-mod rear panel reinforcement gussets. Engine rebuilt 1969, Willys gearbox 1963. No Maltournee plate for body. Willys fenders, ford-style toeboard gussets, no body numbers...very early French body. Evidence of floor starter too. However, she runs like a Swiss watch and starts first time, every time. Rust-free. Some 'F' bolts and parts. Just had body renovation. Sold to William Galliers 2003. |
