Canungra has unfortunately been cancelled this year due to extremely heavy rain.
It has been moved and rescheduled, more details at

The Swap Meet and Field Day has been moved and rescheduled to Emu Gully, Helidon on the 3rd/4th/5th December.

Meanwhile, some events have been organised to fill the gap this weekend:

Saturday 16th October
Meet 9am Gold Coast Military Museum, Springbrook Rd Mudgeeraba (Adults $10, 2hr tour)
Lunch stop at Yatala Pie shop
Afternoon tour of Supermarine Spitfire factory, 388 Hawkesbury Rd Moggill (free, courtesy Mike O'Sullivan)
Return to MJCQ club house around 3pm, free sausuage sizzle then movies after dinner. Contact: Nigel 0418 795 002

Sunday 17th October
Meet 8am club house, depart 9am to Australian Motorcycle Museum, opp. Linnings Rd Haigslea
$15 includes BBQ lunch + tea/coffee (teenagers $10, refreshments only $5)
Afteroon tour of Fylcom Spares, Unit 7 53 Briggs Rd Raceview.
Return to club house afterwards.

Are we able to arrive earlier and/or leave later, ie. monday morning?

Unlike Canungra, I understand that Emu Gully is private property, so I don't know how early I can arrive, or how late I can leave.

Hi Sam,
Because he runs school camps there they do not want us there untill after midday.
It would be OK to stay till Monday morning and it is OK if you need to drop in a vehicle or trailer early.
You could stay at Heliden spa caravan park if you need to arrive early.
I have a few things for you. I better not forget to put them in the ute.

Thanks, I plan a friday noon arrival and monday late am departure (Monday BYO breakfast at my camp again?).
What about powered sites, I need to know as this will greatly affect my planning.
Can I get 240v power?
And I have a few items to pack for you as well.
