Bob.

I believe that the rule of thumb is that a married man should spend approximately 30% of his annual income on Jeeps, related parts, guns, boats, and a reasonable bar bill.If money's tight, household improvements should be limited to expanding garage space. Regarding shipping, check Yellow Freight, with pickup in Kittery Maine 03904. If it doesn't work, would you let me know? Thanks, Bob

I like that 30% rule, I'm gonna have to try to stick to that

from a M38.Has the external e-brake set-up.

Just a quick heads up, the M38 used the internal brake shoe/drum setup and the M38A1 used the external shoe/brake drum setup.

The Parking Brake Drum and mechanism is worth more than the asking price of the gearboxes.

Thanks for pointing this out. However I went outside to look at the tranny and found that I had been in error, this is the internal type e-brake,the tranny is the military type with venting and threaded cap for removing the shifter/stick.Thanks,Bob

The M-38 Parking Brake drum with the internal parts and mechanism is worth more than the asking price for the complete assembly being offered.
