Shipping stencil location

Post by The General » Tue Jun 01, 2010 1:21 pm

Hi, could any knowledgeable "G" member help me with a stencil location. The Souchman website advises that the shipping stencil location in put on the right hand side of the vehicle quite far back under the grab handle. Most jeeps here in the uk have the stencil further forward towards the front wing. I plan to mark my vehicle as one involved in the d day landings. Is there a right or wong?? your opinions please.

Cheers, Tim. UK.

I think you will find it in different font sizes also...here is one with it on R side...it was attributed to the 101st A/B and it looks to be Normandy.

I got mine on the passenger side, under the grab handle, otherwise you couldn't see it with the additional geerycan holder mounted.
