here's my M16A2 it spent the 30 or so years logging in CA. The owners said it was the only piece of equipment that never gave them trouble. It still runs good.

Wendell,

I think you have the only T-17 in existence! Does it have a data plate in the cab?

Very nice!

Postby vj » Sat Jan 24, 2009 1:03 pm

thank,s mark for posting the picture. i will buy the drank,s at the officer,s club tonight. i wish i could. i hope all is going good for you over there, thanks, for you service. hello clint, this might be the only t17. i have not seen another one, any where . yes it,s got the data plate, it was build by autocar. also the hood number is stamped on the winch bumper. i got a title for it too. the m3a1 come out of the factory as a m3a1, but was made in to a m16a1. i got most of all the part,s to restore all these halftrack,s but not the will power. i sure thank all the folks for posting picture,s of there military vehicle,s . i sure enjoy looking at them. wendell
I have got four running halftracks, plus 5 ton ww2 semi-truck,1943 willys jeep and other ww2 vehicles, plus a lot of parts to trade on. Wendell in Tn.
