Restoring Continental W670-9A

Postby RAY COLBY » Mon Jan 05, 2009 2:04 pm

Hi!

I am restoring a Continental W670-9A Engine for a power museum which will be an operational display. I think it is from a LVT-1 or 2 (no bilge pump drive).

I need the following parts (probably more) and would appreciate any help I can get locating them:

!. Fan
2. Flywheel
3. Fan shroud
4. Intercylinder baffles
5. Instrument panel and/or gauges
6. Primer pump
7. Any hardware for the above

Thanks, Ray

Continental W670-9A Engine

Postby Steve Greenberg » Tue Jan 06, 2009 1:25 am

Ray,
That is probably a M3/M3A1/M3A3 Stuart tank engine. They did not have the bilge pump drives. I have a few spare parts for the W670-9A engine. I will take a look at my shop and I will let you know of I have any of the parts your looking for.
Thanks,
Steve 8)
