In fact at Ciney this year, this book was available. But after the opening at 9am, someone had already purchased the entire copies...

I'll try some French retailers (Jeepest, JeepSudest,...). Thanks for the help

sorry different facts or reasons..
he told me his publisher has quit the printing business and wiped out all the material from his computers, so Emile has to start from manuscript again and that will cost so much money he will not be able to make it profitable any more.

Now that is a real shame - this is a great book. I often use it.

Maybe a few questionable mistakes in it but it's great.

Do you really believe his publisher has "wiped" his computer...I've heard that one before.

I think Jeep Village in France also have it in stock.

So when are we going to see the "definitive" g503 jeep book...

he also had health problems so he is slowing down a bit, ..i know him for over 25 years now. he sold most of his collection of vehicles which is/was a lot!! and he has quit making all other books too.
guess his books will be collectables soon, i know for sure the last ones sold on Ciney went to a dealer for the normal customers price. so i guess the price will be a bit higher now.
i have been talking with him about his jeep book many times now...
it's final.

What amazes me about Beckers' WWII MV books is the detail and research that has been done. I have been reading them for so long, 30 years, that I can almost understand the French and German captions.
