FS Kapok lifejacket

I have 2 1945 issue Kapok lifejackets for sale. They are in good, useable shape for being so old. Millions were made for the war. Every ship, landing craft, Duck or other amphibian had a few of them on board. Millions of soldiers ,sailors and marines almost lived in theses jackets. Today few remain.

I remember vividly going down a rope ladder from a boat boom to a boat with one of those miserable things on. At least we didn't have to wear them while operating the boat.
