That is the first good pictures of an ambulance that I've ever seen :!: 8) Thank you for posting the pictures. I wish I had painted my M151A1 desert tan.

Stanles,

That M718 FLA (front line ambulance) is one of the best looking I have seen! Someone did a super job on that. I never saw any as clean as that while in the service.
The M825 106 RR carrier looks good also. Were most of those jeeps purchased un-cut? While there are a few uncut ones here in the states, more are cut (rewelded) than not. The good old US Gov deemed them unsafe years ago.
Thank you very much for sharing those excellent photo's!

Just hope they wasn't on the Lend/Lease deal. Italy got M1 Garands on the Lend/Lease deal and when they took them out of inventory they was sold at action to a private collector.

However Italy took and replace the 30.06 barrel with a 308 barrel. Now Italy is in hot water because Uncle Suger wan't the rifels back. Italy replied with "we sent the 30.06 barrels back to you" and then Uncle Sugar said thats fine. The 308 barrels are yours so remove them and send the rest of the rifel back.

The last I heard, Italy and the privat collector is under investigation. So I suspect that Italy will have to pay Uncle Surger for them or the private collector will loose his M1 Garand Colloection.

Well you know the fait of the MUTT if they are on the Lend/Lease deal. However you guys did a subpurb job to bring them back to life.
