I'll see if we cant get you working here.

First whats the URL to where the picture is located at?
Example:

http://www.thunderforge.net/blog/upload ... 704031.jpg

Thats to a picture of a weasel i bought a while back.

Once you have that URL just put it inbetween [img][/img]
Example:

[img]http://www.thunderforge.net/blog/uploaded_images/M29Weasel-704031.jpg[/img]

And if its done right you should see a picture when you preview or submit your post.

Here's the raw link to a picture of my weasel.
I finally figured out the whole process of moving pictures here. Now I am trying to make them bigger.
The gun/weiner test was to try different settings on the camera while taking a picture. It made no difference.
Maybe I'm trying to do something that isn't possible.
I see nothing at mypicgallery that could help with this.
My biggest issue is understanding and learning the whole computer/digital thing.
It's my 1 year anniversary and I have come far. Long way to go.
It took me 4 hours once to post some pictures here before I figured out cut and paste. Duh.
Any help you have to offer is most definately appreciated.

If you have a paint program on your Windows.. MS Paint.... or Paint Shop Pro.. you can increase the size of your photo....then "Crop" it so people don't spend half their lives downloading useless peripheral landscape....

Here it is after being increased to 600pixels wide.... note the clarity is not there.. this happens when you increase a small photo.....also notice, I cropped the image to get rid of the landscape.

Also.... I deleted the pole sticking up through the roof....

Great, now I need glasses too.

I have a Mac and I don't think I have what you are talking about.
I'll check with the chick since she is smarter than me. (so she says)
Would a better digital camera help me in any way?
Was that you on the billboard in Vegas? Thunder From Down Under?

I've seen some great pics taken with a mobile phone (read Cell Phone if you're a Yank).. so really, the camera isn't everything....that's not to say a better camera doesn't hurt.
Even with Mac you can play with photos, depends on the programs, but with a new camera, you should get a program that works....
Here's a clue...
Take the biggest pic you can, crop it......then reduce it to no more than 700 pixels wide to post on the gee....
Free programs are available on the web.... even for a Mac

Go to http://download.com and see what's available
