PT Boat markings help needed

Postby SteveG » Mon Oct 29, 2007 11:08 pm

I need some help on what detail painting I can do on this PT boat to make it more like the real thing. I know where the PT numbers go, but how about any other markings? Was the lower hull painted a different color?
Unit markings?

Thanks for any help. This wooden boat is 75 inches long.

Thanks, Steve Gregori

I like the Dodges hiding in the back ground. What are they. Mark

Ask on the PTBoats, Inc. web site. They are always answering such questions.

The 1/2 ton is a Command Car, the 3/4 ton is a WC-51.

Larry,
Thanks. I'll give that a try.

thanks Steve. It seems you have done a fine job at restoring your vehicles. hopefully if I am around this summer I can make it to the 4 wheel fest at Camp Bob and take one of my 1/2 tons out. Mark
