Something Cool !!!

Hey All,

We had our airshow this last weekend and it was a hit --- a lot of very neat A-planes to see and watch perform

One of my favorites is pictured here -- we just received it 5 days ago fully restored from New Zealand (Hi Al !!! :) ) we had barely enough time to put the wings on and have it ready for a static display. But we got it and what a bird it is......A P40 Warhawk. The owner of this plane is Craig Shultz....Charles Shultz' son.....You Know, SNOOPY :P

Hopefully we will be able to listen to the fresh motor tomorrow, Monday --- and if all goes well.......it will fly in about a month or so after all the paper work is complete.....have a look for yourself....still a few things to install but the hard part is done !

Nice Airshow too! I have been to a couple and this one is pretty good.

Put it off for years now and that was obviously a mistake. The variety of aircraft is sensational. The P40 was perfect. The really neat thing about the show was the amount of participation that the crowd and aircrews have. I have never seen so many people in and out of cockpits at any event. Maybe I just never noticed.

Thanks for the invite. Mike appeared to enjoy it as well. He was impressed with the flight of the U-2.

oh..by the way, nice display you NBMVC guys! :D
