Have a landing craft for sale?

Postby battlebaby3 » Fri May 18, 2007 6:18 pm

I am trying to help the Dunkirk, New York Lighthouse and Militray Park Museum to locate any working or restorable landing craft. If they are in the Great Lakes area would be the best.
We would like to restore some for our reenactment event of the Dieppe Raid and D-day. With our own Navy we can have the most authentic event on the Lakes.
Any info would be greatful.

I see many down in the carribean where they are still used to ferry supplies from island to island or are used in construction. Its amazing what is still in use out there. Good luck.
