F/S: 1919A4 Dummy Gun Receiver Kit- New Made Parts
All new made parts, except for the two pintle pads. Other than the top plate, all components are made specifically for a dummy build, and are not intended for use in a live gun. I had these parts made for this purpose and build my own dummy projects out of these. I can include rivets with this, at no extra cost. You can also use drive screws, but I don't have any of those as I never use them. Some holes are undersize, and some fitting will be required to assemble these, like any 1919 build. The one thing I do not have to offer are rear sight mounting brackets. There is a source on gunbroker for these, last I checked. I have none to spare. These are all steel, no aluminum. The right side plate is 1/2" thick. The trunnion bore is slightly undersized, so a live barrel cannot be inserted. I recommend 1 1/4" DOM tubing, 24" long and just a little bit removed from the rear diameter to fit the trunnion. Common 1919 parts will fit right on- back plate, top cover, latch, barrel jacket, etc. These are all the hard parts to find, and you don't have to waste real receiver parts on this. Just testing the market to see if there is any interest in these. Price is $600 plus shipping.
For any detailed questions, just drop me a line and I am glad to help. My full dummy builds run $1600, so I am discounting these fairly steeply. You get to do all the assembly and detail work, and supply your remaining components, most of which are readily available.

You machine a very impressive kit there and the price is extremely reasonable.
I know because I've built many A4 and 1917 dummies from scratch.
I hope you can turn a profit! Good Work!

Re: F/S: 1919A4 Dummy Gun Receiver Kit- New Made Parts
Bob,
Your name is well regarded here. I much appreciate your kind words. In the interest of full disclosure, I have good CNC and manual machinists/shops that I have my parts made at, so I won't take credit for the work. But they get made to my specs, and my skill set is more in the building and finishing, where I like to go into great detail so the dummies- just like my live guns- look as good as possible. It was a suggestion from a friend that I offer this package, as a supplement to the finished dummy guns I build. Just kind of testing the waters, as I have a fair number of these I can offer, should anyone be interested. Either way, I will keep building my dummy guns. Just have not had time to take from my live gun work lately, along with other related products I do. Thanks again for your post.

Farrell, thanks for the feedback, and for posting pics of your dummy build. I greatly appreciate your business, and am glad you are happy with the components. It was a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Lucky#13 Sorry for un-burring old tread but do you still make those parts?

Re: F/S: 1919A4 Dummy Gun Receiver Kit- New Made Parts
I am down to the last of the left plates in particular. Also, the rear sight brackets I have left are needed for my live gun builds. I can't replace those anymore, but hopefully someone will fix the rear sight bracket supply issue, with a new made product. I am going to have to get more side plates done soon, but I am good on the rest of the parts, as illustrated at the top.
I could let loose of one more left plate, right plate, trunnion, pawl bracket and pintle pads if you need those. I'd have to go at $400 plus shipping for those parts. Let me know if that suits your needs.

Working on 2 dummy 1919’s right now, I’m still scavenging parts. Do you still have any parts left over that are for sale?

Re: F/S: 1919A4 Dummy Gun Receiver Kit- New Made Parts
I just got an order for a couple more builds, so my side plate supply is exhausted until I get more made. But I do have plenty of bottom plates, trunnions, belt holding pawl brackets and top plates. The last two components are same as I use on live guns, but the bottom plates and trunnions are dummy grade only. There is no locating rail on these trunnions, so my side plates are made with no slot for that feature. Therefore, they don't match up will with an original 1919 left plate, for example. Let me know what you need, and I am going to talk to my CNC vendor about running more plates.

Thanks, junking. I appreciate the support.
I have to get more side plates done for these, as mentioned above. It might be a few weeks before that happens, but I will update here in case others are interested. The trunnion in particular works best when paired with my matching side plates.
