Need help with ID.
Ran across this at a local antique mall. Its a Scott radio and looks to have navy supplied parts. Any help with an ID on this receiver would be appriciated. It weighs a ton, looks to be a rack mount. So it probably is ground or ship based. Finally, is it worth 150?

Its the Navy RCK 115 - 156 mc rcvr.
As to worth , that's up to the buyer. Someone who has the Navy TDQ xmtr that cover the same freq range might want it to run AM phone on 2 meters.

Forgot to mention it is housed in its own cabinet. Not sure if it would mount and screw into a standard 19" rack cabinet.

Re: Need help with ID.
The last time that I saw one of those was just before Thanksgiving, 1968, aboard USS Valley Forge (LPH-8). I don't have to go find my copy of NAVSHIPS 900,228 to say that no, it will not fit safely into a standard 19" rack. The front panel doesn't stick out far enough on each side, and it isn't strong enough, anyway.
If you are buying it, I would ask the seller for the cabinet it belongs in.
