Is this the same k&n filter which many members used to change in their mutt.i am attaching the picture

No, the one that RickF showed is correct, just did the conversion on my 62 and 81 M151s

Austringer did u notice any increase in power?any change in fuel consumption?
Should I go for this air filter modification?

I did notice a fair increase in throttle response, not sure about power though. Overall, I think it's a great conversion, even if it's just for the more effective filtering of the air.

did the conversion, little different than what I've seen, did not trust screwing into the thin lip so welded in some plates, also removed the top baffle in the upper part of the cleaner assembly and totally removed the oil bath in the bottom. Did use a K&N filer, should be the last filer I ever need for it. I have pic's if someone can resize for me, not sure how
