Odd 41 water can

Postby Refit1701 » Sun Jul 15, 2012 9:50 am

I picked this can up at the convention.... a "W" marked can with two eared cap instead of a regular water type lid. Is this an early type water can?

Check it close. I may be a galvanized can. I had one like it.

It is an early water can with the correct cap.
The large hinged lid followed in 1942.
And as Bill H. mentioned, it should be galvanized.
