Odd corner covers for an M38

Has anyone ever seen covers like these? I removed them from and M38. Thanks, Chuck

Must have been for some sort of overhead racks.

swing out spare tire rack ...also had a place for GI gas can you just got the hinge part with CB ant. mount added...had several on civy. jeeps .. :)
