Windshield Armor Frame - WTK

Postby beltfed34 » Fri Jun 01, 2012 10:55 pm

All,
Ok, can someone tell me how much I'm missing here with this frame, I'm not even sure how it fits together. Is there any online sources for installation or???? Any insight would be helpful!

Regards, Austin

I think that lower piece needs to be flipped around, because it looks upside down. The notcch in the center is where it fits around the hood bumper block thing that is at the center of the vehicle.

There isn't much to installing those parts, but the setup is for the very thick ballistic glass. All you have to do is drill and insert nut zerks for to match all of the holes. You will need wiper arm extenders so the arms will work on the thick glass. In addition you will need the brackets that go on the side of the windshield, they line up with the armor that goes on the sides of the windshield. You could have the glass made to work with the window kit but I am not sure it is worth the portential loss in visibility.
