Date of Delivery?

Hello, I'm new here. I recently bought a 1941 Willys MB Slat Grill that has the original Data plate and I can't make out the Date of Deliverly. I can see the month which is December. The serial number is 100726, Frame is I00726, and Gusset is 3028. The frame does not start with a number 1, it is an "I". With everything that I have read I thought it was suppose to be in November. Could someone please help me figure this out? Thanks!

Congrats on your jeep Willys. I have MB-101256. The date of delivery on it is 12-12-1941.

I had always assumed that there was some issue with the Jeep before acceptance and it had to go back in for rework ... thus the relatively late DoD.

most slats in your SN range were DOD'd from 24 to 26 NOV 1941...

but there were a few right around your SN that were DOD'd on 4 DEC 1941...

Thank You for the information. I do believe my DOD is 12-4-41. I can just barely make out a 4 on the plate.

Here is a pic of my Data Plate for #100726. This is why I asked about the DOD because you can see it is scratched and can only make out the 12.
