1945 MB recovered...

Here's to perseverance: After 2 plus years of asking Jeanie @ the Texaco if her family would ever sell their old jeep ( that I have never seen until now) I was able to get a yes and bring it home this past weekend. Funny thing was, after all the build up the family said if I did not want it they were going to take it to the recycle place and have it crushed. People are funny.The jeep is rough, not sure what to do with it but at least I saved it from the crusher..but it is cool they are still out there.After I take inventory of it's parts and condition I may post it/parts for sale.Here's a few pic's:
