I have a federal sign and signal siren with the v grill but no data tag ,Is there any way to find out the correct information for the reproduction tag so i can put the correct information on it, such as 6 or 12 volt , amps , model number , serial number. Thanks For any help with this. Ron
I have an NOS in the box 6 Volt version by Federal Sign and Signal, it is 6volts DC Model O Serial 1L12 G2. The G2 denotes that is has a painted finish. The Chromed ones have a different suffix which I do not have the information on.

When I got my siren the data plate was toast, so I reprinted it. It turned out OK in the end. Below is the original data plate and what I drew up to make the stencil. Other photos show the completed item. The numbers you asked about are on one of the photos.
Are there any markings stamped on the inside that would tell if i have a 6 or 12 volt , and what is the diffrence between a O model and VG model ? Thanks for information so far guys. Ron
I have a tag on order with Ed ,I dont know if he has any of the buttons for the sirens or if any body else sells them. Is there a certain model that was used on the military vehicles. ThanksRon
