I have an NOS in the box 6 Volt version by Federal Sign and Signal, it is 6volts DC Model O Serial 1L12 G2. The G2 denotes that is has a painted finish. The Chromed ones have a different suffix which I do not have the information on.

When I got my siren the data plate was toast, so I reprinted it.
It turned out OK in the end.
Below is the original data plate and what I drew up to make the stencil.
Other photos show the completed item. The numbers you asked about are on one of the photos.

I have had several...none were chrome, all were the alloy finish....

The tag on the one I have has:
"6 DC O 1L12D7"

Possibly an Auto Electrician can do some tests to see if it's a 6V or 12V siren.

Outwardly, the Model "0" and the VG look similar.

As you're missing a data plate, Ed may have some left
