Ok, then I got the wrong striker bar...
My story goes like this:
I didn't have the time and patience to restore my jeep's original body in the first place (It's still sitting in my garage, waiting to be restored...), so I ordered a MDJuan body.
I needed a special one (Willys script, round tank sump and glove box) and I knew that something would go wrong.
And indeed: They "forgot" the glove box. TADAAAA!!
So I cut in the opening myself and found used glovebox floor and door frame. I welded them in.
When I found out that the H700 lock wouldn't work on my homemade glovebox with the early glovebox door, I just used a later glovebox door and forgot about it.
It is still working fine and the early glovebox door is sitting here on a shelf and gets the daily admiration it deserves.
So I always thought it was my or MDJuan's fault...
But now...
