Well since ive been out of the navy ive been using the wc as my work truck and now that the weather is getting warm time to take the top off and give her a paint job before MV show season begins also I have a strange marking on my bed I found that maybe one of you have an idea of what it is

Don't know what the ?-8 refers to, but S-2 typically indicates an officer. "S-2, Intelligence: collects data on enemy movement, strengths, and battlefield deployments, and makes recommendations for command. The S-2 office also handles security clearances, maintains the battalion/brigade's Signal Operating Instructions and radio codes, and usually maintain's the battalion's map collection." The bottom appears to indicate Ft. Knox.

Oh so its just like the s codes in the Navy although we didnt have an S8.

I'm not familiar with S-8, as a reference to an officer. Is the first character an "S" too?
