Kingman AZ G7106

Here is the G7106 Dump truck we recovered from the Kingman Air Museum, and as you can by the picture she has plenty of life left in her. Thinking this is going to be a fun project, but right now my friend Mervin is having all of it !

Wow, you're pulling these dump trucks out of the woodwork! Congrats on the new one. What year is it?

Please post more photos when you have the chance. In particular, I'd like to see how the PTO driveshaft support bearing is mounted to the chassis and also a nice shot of the nomenclature data tag and shift diagram would be much appreciated. Also, if it has the lower inside engine splash guards (that mount between the chassis and the oil pan on each side of the engine) I'm certain everyone would love to see what those look like.

No Splash guards on this truck. I'll see about getting the rest of the pictures you've request. Well the parts truck has a splash on one side. I'll see if Mevin will snap a few pictures.

Hi Michael and Ernie,

Thanks for any photos you can take. Michael, could you get some shots showing how the splash guards attach to the chassis and how they fit around the engine?

Thanks,

John

Thanks for posting that shot, Ernie.

My understanding is that the left splash guard is different based on whether the truck has a winch or not. I'm assuming that must be because the winch driveshaft either passes through or under it. I don't know if there are also variations between the right side ones.

If anyone has splash guards they are looking to sell, feel free to PM me.
