ORD 9 SNL G-102 is your ord supply catalog with parts, cross ref, etc. Several dealers have the tm's you're looking for also.

Hi Beerman,

If you want a real book that you can look at while your working on your vehicle, give ma a call.
Many customers have expressed a little difficulty in reaching portrayal at times . this is why I keep their manuals in stock for the customer that cant call during the normal work day. reading on the computer may be nice at night but a manual next to the vehicle can actually produce results instead of sitting at a computer desk while the vehicle is in the garage.

PS dont forget to thank Steve for his valuable help too.

Thanks Gary

My ORD-9 Has more information in it. there is a troubleshooting section that is 34 pages long .

I also paid more for the spiral binding instead of the conventional glueing the pages. my manual is more durable if it is to be used all the time druing the restoration.

It was never meant to be a collectors edition but a working manual

all these extras cost 5.00 more.

Would someone mind looking up their ORD-9 for me please and see if any of the following numbers appear
against the brake shoe retracting spring listing for both front and rear axles? Thes are the big
suckers that connect between the 2 shoes on each wheel station.

I have a Greyhound (M8) and badly need a couple of the above springs, my problem is
to identify what other vehicle uses the same springs.

B29246822

BX-46467 (I assume this is a Bendix number)

G136-0389805 (is the M8/M20 call up number.)

Thanks in advance.

Doug,
What is the exact nomenclature for the spring...or can you post a schematic? I think I know which one you're referring to but want to be certain.

Per the ORD 9 SNL G-102, it's called the: SPRING, return, brake shoe. It's Stock Number is G067-0602050, it's Ordnance Part Number is A-214972 and it's Manufacturer Part Number is LO-FC-2208 (Wagner Electric).

I can post a scan of the illustration tomorrow for comparison.
