Another Glow Plug Question

Hey guys. I have read around the glow plug subject. We bought new glow plugs and a controller to match the box but it smoked the glow plugs again. So I am going to wire it up with a button for now. I would like to start over with a new brain box. However what is the newest or best to get? I would like to just buy the right parts and have it fixed but with all the red green yellow etc I'm not sure what to buy.

KDS Green, with aux grounding cable from alternator mount to box mount.

Does the PCB that keeps consuming glow plugs use a GPC? Is the GPC faulty?

We throught is was the GPC so we bought a "NIB" one from a guy on ebay. I just picked the truck up and noticed the GPC had red lettering on a while lable....Is that wrong for my box PCB?
