Hello,
For Sale: Reproduction WWII WLA USA Number License Plates. They are
$45.00 each plus $6.00 priority postage in the USA. The plates
in the photo below have been sold already.
Here is a list of numbers I have left in stock at this time:

Hello Steve I just got a very nice Harley Davidson WLA and I am interested in a plate from you but not really sure witch ones would be correct for my bike.
Please let me know what I need to look for and we can go from there.

Your WLA is a Type III. May 42 to April 43. I do not have any ammo boxes.

I think after 1942 licence plates as above were not used anymore, but the number was painted on the tailpiece, see Johan's website, it's there somewhere.

The transition from plates to painted numbers took place somewhere around the end of production of the Type IV (Summer 1943) from what I have observed on period pictures.

No thanks Johan! you can see my original plate there too, 1 of 3 or 4 known to exist, number is from an Indian 640.
