Beachmaster Jeeps are USN, and would normally be gray.
Thanks Luis, I still have vivid memories of my Uncle Joe, a WWII Army Ranger, with his ear "glued" to the family radio at the first anouncements of the North Koreans starting the war. He was concerned that he might be recalled to active duty.

Thanks for sharing! It appears the jeeps on the boat in the fourth photo are painted with semi gloss and I dig that USAF jeep in the last photo. 8) Plus there's no star on the hood which backs up my Father's recollection of the photo of the jeep he was sitting in that I depicted with my jeep.

Note the jeep with the PA speakers. To persuade N. Koreans to surrender.

Nice shots for the 24th ID in Taejon. Maj. Gen. Dean did the best he could with what he had, but they could not hold the Reds back.

Wondering if that was a Soviet built machine or something captured off of the Germans? It does have the reverse grip hand controls & flat heads (I know it could also be CJ750)
