m151 tag light

Postby hatleyn » Thu Feb 02, 2012 2:42 pm

trying to hook up a light for my m151a2 on the rear to have one on the plate. Was wondering if they sell 24v bulbs at normal places or well i have to order one off line to hook in the slot?

Ok I got a few spare 24v laying around should I just splice it off the running lights? Or well this cause a problem with dimming issue?

Hook into the trailer harness running light. You should have no problem with that.

If you use genuine military surplus bulbs, the bases will be stainless steel. The 24 volt bulbs from parts houses will be steel with a plating. The genuine military bulbs are much less likely to corrode in place.
