M35 bedding roll w/ M40 sleeping bag

Postby iron bender » Sat Dec 24, 2011 12:41 pm

I started a new thread for this subject. This is what I have on my m4 track x 6. M35 bedding roll and the M40 sleeping bag. This is the best vintage set up I can think of for really sucky nights. You will sweat in this set up. For those who don't know, the M40 bag has two layers of quilting plus the cover plus a moisture cover. Really comfy.

More pics of the bags, as you can see many different bag colors and strap types.

I had one of those as a kid and wore it out camping. It saw hunderds of nights in the Rockies. I never got cold.

I sure wish they would reproduce those. I'm sure they would sell

What Price Glory reproduces the M35 roll. There is a sleeping bag that Wally world sells that looks really similar to the M40 sleeping bag.
