Commander, would love to one day - but brining a charabang from Wales this year. Wouldn't mind a field for the caravan one year!

See you in a couple of weeks

Hi Reg, if you ever get chance go and look on the traders car park at the rear of the halls
you will find 20 or more caravans parked up what traders bring to stay in wink wink or there
helpers on the stall

Hi, Paul

Want to do a bit of shopping and mingling, shall we meet in the far right hand corner - near the Commander's stall?

It can get a bit busy down there, but if we said say 1400?? Or would everyone prefer a bit earlier??

Commander - that is your usual spot?

PS Those entrenching tools were a real bargain - pleasae excuse my hesitation when I saw you at Malvern, but somethings are a little too good to be true at times!

Good to bump into Cripp, Paul Dodge and F MArk.

Stoneleigh was very busy to start with ut quietend down VERY quickly by lunch time.

Surpised at the prices the Europeans were asking for (for once) as the Euro must be shifting in excahnage rates.

Just missed out on TWO BC611 handy talkies for £200 the PAIR!

But got me shiny new Firestones!

Likewise Reg. Saw dodge too and Had a chinwag with John Farley. Didn't find any great deals, just got some service parts for the jeep.

Sorry, just a passing 'hello' with the 'commander'.

Tried saying hello at the beginning of the day but the stall was buzzing.

Cant help but think that you need more light in that corner.

What with the two reported incidents of pick pocketing today it's a thieves paradise!

Glad you had a good time REG and you are right about it being a thieves paradise. Two years ago I looked at a 100+ year old lever action Winchester rifle early in the show and half way through the morning there was a security lock down when the stallholder realised someone had pinched it (no, not me!!!). I had something stolen at a show that I recently attended and it's put me off going to that one as I've noticed a large gypsy contingent attending who seem to be lured by Land-Rover parts and then see what else is there to be had. I'm going to stick to small ads in future.

Derek.
