Post by willy » Mon Jan 16, 2012 6:36 pm

Where do I look for the left front tire does not get air
It state flat tire
Does this mean there is a hole in the tire it not going down all the way
Or does it not get blow up by the system I keep pressing HWY tire
What else to do.

You probably have already done this but;
Turn off the CTIS on the control box in the cab.
Air up the tire with air hose, and check to see if it stays up.
O ring in the wheel or the grommet on the air tube can be problematic.
If thats not the problem - then go to next step - checking CTIS tubing.

The manuels har helpful.

Mark,
I now get a message that I have or run with a flat
But all wheels are up to 45 pounds
What is wrong now and should I worry

I had the same problem. First, I replaced all of the o-rings on the tires. then, I replaced all of the CTIS tubing and cleaned out all of the fittings. Everything is perfect. Some of the critics of the CTIS system don't realize that some parts of these vehicles just need a little maintenance. I don't know what gets into the lines, but they do get clogged somehow.
