M151 A2 heater

My jeep has a heater mounter up under where a passenger would put his/her legs, looks like there is a gas line going to it. How should i go about getting the heater to work safely. All the other electrical things on the jeep work great and jeep well crank just waiting on a new fuel pump as the jeep has been sitting 20+ years.

it isn't a gas powered heater. It's a hot water heater. There should be a hot water feed pipe going from the area around the water pump...to the heater, then back to the engine. There are brass spigots at the engine end which must be opened to allow water to flow around the heater unit when the system gets hot.

The drum-shaped unit on the left hand side of the heater is the blower motor. There should be a switch on the dash to operate the blower (it says Hi-Off-Low).

If you don't know how the system works, you must get yourself a tech manual otherwise you'll end up doing some damage.
As a minimum, get the Driver's TM (TM9-2320-218-10)

Thanks n, I now see two lines that look like water lines going up to the motor but look like they have been cut I'll look into it more and submit more pictures if need I got a tech manual just found it in the storage under the passengers seat,

The gas line you see goes through the transmission tunnel into the engine compartment and then to the fuel pump.

Ok I see thanks. There are two black hoses that appear to be cut on the right side of the motor probley half inch rubber hose. I'm very new to this does my radiator need to just have plain water or can it have antifreeze in it sorry for the questions but my first m151a2 repair job

Do not use plain water in any engine. Use a 50% mix of antifreeze. It helps with cooling as well as freezing plus it is a rust inhibitor.

I got my heater done and hooked up. Only thing i'm in need of is the switch and wire to connect to the male connection on the heater motor. ]
Know of anywhere that sales them, or could I just go to the local store and find one that does high off low?

I looked through it could not find anything on the switch

I think Saturn Surplus has them. It is a standard MV toggle switch with On/Off/On. If it is not listed on their website, call them, as they have lots of stuff not listed.
