Hey Guys-
I recently got 30" high country all terrians for my 58 CJ5. I have 16" rims that are the stock military looking rims. The front wheels rub on the leaf springs while turning. I do have the stoppers on the hub but they are rusted away, shot and corroded to hell. How can I get rid of this Rub? Do I need a lift, spacers or a different rim.
I can add pics if needed.
thanks,
Wes

You need a wheel offset that moves the tire outboard and you really should repair those steering stops and adjust them per which model knuckle joints you have.

Weld new stock on the tube and tap for new bolt and jam nut.
