Radios were Harris PRC-138's. Here are details: http://www.milspec.ca/radspec/prc-138.html

These might be very hard and very expensive to find. I know Murphy's Surplus has them but don't know price or condition. 4 German "Armbrust" anti-armor weapons (not AT-4s) were carried in each vehicle and in Bosnia/Kosovo, even a Stinger was sometimes carried. M-249 SAW and M-16A2 Commandos (not M-4) were popular. They wore black Protec helmets like you see in Black Hawk Down and wore USAF sage flight suits much of the time.

Ok For all of you wondering. I been doing alot i mean alot of research on the vehicle. As of right now I have found up to 20 different varients for the mods. The Jeep I own is one of three not two like I was originally thinking. Mine is a Heavy Weapons Carrier and The other in one I was unaware of is the same. The one at Ft. Bragg is a Commo Version for Command Support. As for everyone else that says the ones they own are correct yes they are but they are not one of the original nine made in Desert Storm. The others that are out there consist of USMC and US Ranger FAV. I have a copy ot the MWO from Desert Storm that shows nine being made at Ft. Bragg. The offical Name of them on the paper is FAJ not FAV like the Rangers and Marines called them. The list of equipment carried on my paticular jeep is as follows: Radio PRC138 Harris, PRC77, Extra batteries 2ea and short whip antenna, Weapons 3 M-4a1 Carbines, 2 M16 a1 or a2, 1 M2 50cal with spares, 1 M60 with spares, (no tripods), 3 M1911s, 3LAW with 8 reloads behind the seats (finally know what the brackets are for), 1 Shoulder fired Stinger, 2 AT-4 (one on front and one in the rear box), 2 Rucks ( personal gear), 1 Cammo Netting, ten 100rnd boxes 50cal, 6 200rnd boxes .308, 1 can .45, 600rnds 5.56 in 30rnd mags. all ammo was stored in the back or in the boxes on the sides and rear. misc smoke and grenades also. It was up to the TC of the vehicle for a M79 or M203 for his weapon. Keep in mind all of this could be changed at will by the commander and TC for the missions. Most vehicles carried extra fuel and or water but mostly fuel. The crew also had there personal gear and equipment also loaded on the vehicle. I am sure that fully loaded that it was a sight to see. I have a picture Iam currently waitning on that I will post as soon as I receive it. If anyone else has info on thses vehicles all varients please email me or post so I can keep up the research. I know there were varients from commo to TOW missles so there are alot out there.

I used to have the complete kit, just like you have on yours will all the boxes. I can get it back if I wanted it. What was the big box on the rear of the jeep for?

The box on the back of the jeep was used for 2 things either an at-4 or the geerman armbust. Both the ranger and delta jeeps had these.

Here are a few pictures of the same kit, off of a jeep. Thinking about mounting it on a M151A2 I have. Need to find out what tires and rims were used.

There comes a point when the amount of stuff on a vehicle becomes a liability. You are looking at making the vehicle unreliable due to gross overloading and also unstable for the same reason. Look how much of that weight is up high. Granted, you need to get a lot of stuff a long ways in and fast but if you lose half of it to failure you have not accomplished the mission. On top of being overloaded you have positive offset wheels for the wide tires and I can guarantee the wheel bearings will not last a hundred miles, especially since they are close spaced anyway.

Not sure what or how the Delta got around all of the weight issues. I know that there are spacers and extra springs added to the vehicle front and rear. The vehicles were made to be "thrown away" but i can see that they made it back home after several trips over seas so something was done right.

How do you check the oil? Simple dumb question but a vehicle loaded like that is working to the max and using oil, I guarantee it.

UHHH you lift the hood??? Its not loaded like you think i can pull the front plate and lift the hood normally with no issues. Also i understand where you going with this but as i said 9 of these were done like this and they ran just fine over seas. the only issue i have is fuel problems now and that from old lines. also keep inmind i still am missing about another 3-400lbs of weight on it.

Now you can say the modern humvee is being loaded down with extras it wasnt intended for but they seem to work fine also. Its all just in how you drive them and take care them.
