M201 24V Electrical

Postby 49thGuard » Wed Oct 05, 2011 7:27 pm

So I have a starter, distributor, regulator and a dynamo/generator - 24V system from what I believe was an M201 Hotchkiss
I was told it was all in working order but have no way to verify if it is or not. (that I know of)
Anyone have any idea what the value of these items might be?

Any info would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Yea thats 24V M201 alwright. Dont see your location, but if your in the US, its not worth much I dont think. There may be some other 201 owners here in the US, but I havent found any yet. If your in europe, then yes they would get snapped up quickly. You could check out UK ebay, you see alot of that stuff sold there to get an idea of the going prices for the parts used. If your in the US, I might be interested in the voltage regulator.

Thanks for the verification Scott. I am in the U.S. - California. I imagine shipping these parts back to Europe would be cost prohibitive. Wouldn't even want to guess on the shipping for the Dynamo - ouch! I'll take a look at UK E-bay and see what kind of goodies they have posted (Don't know why I didn't think of that - lol) I imagine they probably sell stuff off a piece at a time as opposed to the entire kit all at once, in most cases.

Thanks for the info
