Navy marking

Found this jeep recently, but not sure about the originality of the hood marking? Will look around for more clues. Does have original data plates.

I am trying to make out the number? Looks like USN and maybe 85227?? Can you tell me how much gray paint appears under the fenders and dash? I am trying to decide how much gray paint to spray over the OD underside of a Navy jeep I am restoring.

Got a better pic of the hood, looks like 452 at the end but paint missing down to bare metal for the rest...

Looks like a bit of yellow under that black USN, could be USMC number there.

That is not a Navy contract jeep... at least not the body, as there is no hole for the wiper motor loom.
