There apparently was a two rivit data plate of some sort on the dash between the emerg brake handle and glove box door. The rivit holes are 2 1/16" apart, center of holes. It's missing, but I took a picture. Any idea what was there? The glove box is of the VERY light weight type (see picture) so I can't say if it was ribbed or not. The under-fenders and frame were definetly painted grey, and still are (under the rust & dirt). I took a picture of the front & rear under-fenders and a part of the frame. I forgot to check for undercoating. It's actually pretty well undercoated with decades of farm dirt, so I really need to get it washed off - which won't be easy. This has two layers of green over the grey. The dark green is over a light green. Neither is olive drab, so it must have had two civilian paint jobs (with a brush or maybe a broom). Looking closer at it, I think the grill, dash, steering column, maybe the seats, windshield and under the hood & fenders were never repainted with the civilian green. What I thought was white I now believe is actually a faded-out grey. That would mean the hood lettering was white on grey?? That doesn't make much sense. Unless this was at least medium grey, the lettering would be real hard to see, and unless this paint really faded-out a lot, it was a light grey. The motor & trans & transfer case are stuck. It's stuck in 4 wheel drive and 4 very flat tires so it's real hard to move around right now. I popped off the trans top and noticed it had zero oil, but the gears are nicely rusted together. I have another project underway right now so I won't be tearing into this one too much for a while. I would like to get it movable though... DON - SEEMS LIKE IT WILL ONLY ATTACH 3 PICTURES. I'LL SUBMIT THIS, THEN ADD A COUPLE MORE.
