FS: Original U.S. WW2 M9A1 "Bazooka" - SOLD

Post by uziman » Mon Jun 13, 2011 8:29 pm

100% original and complete, including sling. I have owned this for many years, now it is time for someone else to enjoy it. Demilled with a bore sized hole at the breech, and a cross bar welded through the breech end as well. This one needs nothing - it is all there, and in great condition. Optical sight is clean and clear. Pictures can be seen here http://www.lboe.com/m9a1bazooka.htm

Price is $2,800.00 PLUS shipping costs. Will ship via insured UPS or USPS. Please contact me with any further questions or information.

Considering that a nice, correct late war round should run $150+ that makes these M9A1s a steal at "$650-$750"...

150 a round wow i guess i got a steal at red ball last year for 2 at 125 for both rounds. guess it all depends on how much a person wants to pay.

You must be looking at a different Gunbroker than I am, because I sure don't see any at that price. Right now, there's a M10 WP round listed over there, and the opening bid is $900. That's not the bazooka, just the M10 round.

If uziman is comfortable with the price he's got his bazooka listed at, and you don't have anything at stake in the sale, why piss on his ad? If the price is too high for you, don't buy the thing. There's no reason to react the way you have.

Last "M9A1" (Airborne model that breaks in half) I saw on Gunbroker was for $4K.
Perhaps you are thinking of a standard service M1 or M1A for $7-800. Or you could be seeing those cheap Chinese manufactured imports that can't even be compared to the real thing...
Not a lot of M9A1's out there that I'm aware of.

Hope your talking about the M1 or M1A rifle as the original M1 and M1A1 2.36"s are a lot rarer than M9 and M9A1 series of bazookas. Esp the early 2 forward grip models. Even now the two piece airborne M20 3.5" launchers are getting up there in price.
