Dave,

The promise of delivering the roster allowing us to publish a newsletter in June was met on May 10th, 2 weeks after it was made at the general membership meeting at Tower Park. It's my understanding that several other members in the area had to talk with her before releasing it to us. The other items we need now are funding to cover the costs of printing and mailing along with all of the adverting copy so that we can meet our commitments to them. This all originates with the secretary/treasurer.

The MVCC board officers all know what our responsibilities are to the membership and to those who advertise in our newsletter. We are doing our best to meet those commitments the best we can. We are going to have to compensate the advertisers for missed back issues and hope they will understand and accept our position.

One of the best responses to all of this has been the overwhelming positive response to the newsletter going online. We'll continue this as a service to the members in addition to the hard copy newsletters and it will be done in a manner that doesn't favor one format over the other. The hard copies will be mailed out and a week later the newsletter will go up online.

The elections will unfortunately get pushed back one month but when the new board is seated we will address the immediate concerns of the club promptly. Stay with us, we're still the best darn MV club in the country!

Kurt Lesser,
If the club needs funding for the mailings send me the bill I will pay for it
Then ofcourse I hope to get the proper paper works to satisfy the IRS.
I am tired off this club being held hostage
Willy
Since I am having the floor I started with this club when it was 20 strong paid the postage one month might as well again and Mel paid the next Tom Lux was the editor and my now ex-wife did some writing We belonged to the NMVPA and I went to Davis for the meetings.
Then MVCC was born because I believe Rick wanted to live off the MVPA he was thinking a small amount off money nobody would know it looks like we have that now in our club.
Then it became CCC 0f MVCC with John Anderson at the wheel for about 3 years and then it went to Oroville where I believe Bob Thelander took over and it has been there ever since
Time has come for a change any one having a certifecate from the CCC I have one
So do let any one tell you he or she is the oldest member in years because that not so
At the moment I am as far as I know 48 years
I have Military and Radio Surplus.

Thank you for your offer to pay for the newsletter Willy, it is appreciated but there's no reason a member should have to cover costs of a club activity especially with the money to cover it in the treasury. We will work this out and get the newsletters with ballots out this month.

Willy i appreciate the generocity of paying for funds i would offer up the same to get things on track along with many other members! My question is if this is a proper club their is more than one signature or name on a bank account, wondering why the president has not used that power to do so? also the club log their is no other back ups? , need to fill the gaps for future members.

Willy this is a small vehicle collecting club the fact that we have or are refering to each other by which side we are on bugs the crap out of me.
So what do I raise the price of my parts now if your from one side of the fence or the other? Guess I better start a list...
Side of the fence usually refers to a difference of opinon or political stance.
Thats funny=

Willy I have no idea who that cowboy Bob person is. And I do not take him serious anyway, I am sure Ron knows who he is.
Bob sounds like he is from Bugtussle, Tennessee, they like Banjo and bluegrass down there. :)

Hi Dave,

I hope everyone has recieved there newsletter from George. I am sure that went global to all the members, associates as well as bussiness including the MVPA.

The MVPA has received George's report through myself as MVPA Secretary. As a side note - I was also at the membership meeting at Tower Park, from beginning to end, where the MVCC Board formed the committee to produce this report. From the content of the report I do not believe this little detail was expected to have taken place.
