for the ao-42 engine the lines that are about 1/16 inch wide and runs from the air filter to wherever
what are they called and what do they do and where do they go
Vent line, runs from the magneto to the air cleaner. There is also a larger crankcase vent line that has a shutoff valve at the aircleaner and runs down to the left side of the engine block.
for the hub the pin that goes in there to hold it on
is ther multipe holes that could go in to i have gotten around to it and cant get it out worth nothing any special tricks other than beating the shi/ out of it ?
yes, there are multiple holes, it' usually necessary to turn the lifting eye on the hub and check each hole until you find the pin...it's also possible that there is no pin in the hole. Should not have to beat the shi/ out of it.
also the frame tube on the axle part i had some spacers on the driver side but not the passenger is that normal?
Where are you seeing spacers, at the ends of the frame tube or where the bed mounts to the frame tube? The early mules that were converted from 4-cylinder to 2-cylinder had 1" spacer blocks between the frame tube mount and the bed to raise the bed up to clear the engine.
and lastly the transmission hookups wich one is wich for the controls
the single shift shaft to the far right is the high/low. On the two shifter shafts that are side-by-side near the top of the transmission, right one is 2-3, left is R-1
