Postby lucakiki » Wed Nov 17, 2010 1:51 am

Can any of you M38 guys tell me whether there is one H or two H embossed on the correct cup of the air filter?

Mine has one "H", about 1" tall, right in the center of the cup.

I installed a NOS M-38 Cup under my MB Air Filter several years ago, I will go take a feel to discover how many H's there are or are not.
I have a feeling I am about to learn something.

No, not the WW II cup. That one has only one H.

And apparantly many M-38 Jeeps were factory equipped with WWII MB Cups using the M-38 part number. The Ord 9 for the M-38 illustrates a cup with one "H".
